Authorities Release Details In Murder Of Jersey City Teen

Authorities have released details in the murder of a 16-year-old boy Thursday in Jersey City.

12/17/2021 10:30 a.m.

Pedro Rodriguez was shot near 600 Communipaw Avenue around 11:45 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene about 15 minutes later.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit is actively investigating this case with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department.

No arrests had been made as of Friday morning.
